Pinterest has implemented a custom search experience to ensure users can get reliable information, while Facebook has placed a Coronavirus info center at the top of its news feed. And Snapchat has provided curated COVID-19 resources and news from professional media publishers, which over 40% of Gen Z in the U.S. have used to stay informed. On the podcast side, NPR, CNN, BBC have all launched daily podcasts to provide factual content about the virus and how it’s spreading. And Apple and Spotify have done the due diligence to promote factual information and remove the spread of misinformation.
